Chennai music season 1!
The music season was intense…Amazing and tiring. so many concerts, and so much practice. The number of pictures and dates is testament to the the immenseness of it (each concert is about 3 hours long). The first concert we went to we unknowingly saw one of the oldest and greatest mridangam artists, but our ears were too dumb to appreciate it fully. I am studying with Vittal Ramamurthy, and Padma Shankar (the violinists accompanying on the 13th and the 20th). More to come……
